Hezbollah: This cartoon says it all

This Cox and Forkum cartoon says it all about Hezbollah (and terrorists in general).

I have to hand it to these guys, they're masters of media manipulation. When you store your missiles in bunkers beneath schools, mosques and apartment buildings, then fire them next to the same kind of buildings, you have the perfect setup to highlight civilian casualties.

My question is, why do the civilians put up with acting as targets for Hezbollah? Are they forced to, at gun-point, or just so stupid they don't realize Hezbollah doesn't give a damn about their safety?

Perhaps the answer is the one percent doctrine. If there is a one percent chance that there are weapons stored in that school, we aught to blow it up. One side will say there were no weapons, there other side will swear they had secret evidence that the weapons were there, there will be no independent view, the children will still be dead.

But that completely side-steps my point.

The point I'm making is, the civilian population surrounding these schools and other buildings must know of the weapons placements.

You are approaching this from the viewpoint of international verification.

But, my point is why are the civilians who live there allowing themselves to be used in this way?
